Big Brother bosses have reportedly been forced to push back the show’s launch date over fears Love Island could overshadow it.
The reality shows launched at a similar time last year, and due to Love Island’s massive popularity, Big Brother found itself floundering in the ratings.
While Love Island scored over 2 million viewers for ITV2, Big Brother could only muster an average of around 900,000.
To escape a similar beating this time around, bosses have decided to wait until Love Island comes to an end before launching Big Brother’s rumoured last run.
