New Love Island contestant Molly-Mae Hague has set her sights on newcomer Danny Williams throwing a spanner in the works for Yewande Biande’s chances.
Yes readers, we have ourselves yet another love triangle.
In scenes that air on the ITV2 reality show tonight, Danny and Yewande go on their first date and things are smooth sailing with the pair showing signs of a connection.
‘You’ve got a really nice smile,’ Danny tells her in an attempt to woo. ‘Perfect teeth. As soon as you walked out, I thought, “Wow she’s stunning.” So, hopefully I can get to know you a bit better.’
Yewande replies: ‘I’d like to get to know you better.’
After their rendezvous, Yewande confesses in the Beach Hut: ‘I’m happy that Danny is in the villa. He’s great company and I’m just really enjoying getting to know him. I’m really happy.’
But of course there’s trouble on the horizon as Molly-Mae exclaims that Danny is her type on paper and despite being coupled up with Tommy Fury, she wastes no time in getting to know him.
Talking to the newcomer on the beds, she tells him: ‘I’m actually really looking forward to having a chat with you because I feel like we’re going to get on.’
Danny replies: ‘I feel like me and you have got quite a lot in common. I’ve just got that vibe. I think you seem really down-to-earth.’
Talking about her current partner Danny, Molly-Mae admits: ‘The issue I’ve got at the moment is that I’m very attracted to him. I think he is a gorgeous boy.
‘I just feel like he is in Tommy Land and I’m trying to get my way into it. Maybe I need to get into Danny Land?’
But that’s not all. Also competing for Danny’s affection is Amber Gill, who was his second date.
‘He is a good-looking guy, yeah,’ she tells Molly-Mae after their first meeting. Looks like there’s a lot of competition.
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
