Amber Gill has arrived home following nine weeks in the Love Island villa and even though she took out the top prize with Greg O’Shea nothing beats being reunited with your dog.

The ITV2 winner arrived back in London on Wednesday with an extra £25,000 in her bank account and a lot of tears as she was seen greeting beloved pooch Obi.

Unfortunately the make-up artist couldn’t take her best mate into the Majorca villa, so emotions ran high when they saw one another again this week.

She’s only just landed at Stansted alongside her new boyfriend when she was swarmed by well-wishers welcoming back the finalists to Blighty.

So we can only imagine she was hyped up on pure adrenaline.

In a video posted to her Instagram Stories, the 21-year-old was on the ground as her dog was brought over to her to say hi.

With the waggiest of tales, the little one instantly recognised mum, as Obi showered Amber is kisses and licks.

Unable to control her emotions, Amber tears up as she puts her hands over her face.

It comes after Amber and Greg received a hero’s welcome when they landed alongside Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, and Ovie Soko and India Reynolds.

Monday night saw the islanders beat both Tommy and Molly-Mae to the win.

After the dating show came to an end, they shared a clip online where they adorably thanked viewers at home for all of their support.

‘Like, I actually can’t believe it,’ Amber said beaming from ear to ear.

Looking lost for words, Greg chimed in: ‘I never thought this was going to happen, like at any stage this was going to happen.’

While holding onto Greg’s hand, the beauty therapist covered her mouth as she giggled away to herself.

‘It’s like amazing,’ she laughed before adding: ‘I have no words, like I have no words.’

Greg smiled: ‘I was only in the villa two weeks ago, only two weeks ago – and it just went from there,’ he then planted a kiss on his gal before thanking ‘all the Irish fans’.

Closing off the short clip with a cuddle, Amber told her fans: ‘Thank you so much, I’m so grateful, so so grateful.’

When chatting to Metro.co.uk just one day after scooping the £50,000 prize, the reality stars confessed they’re yet to have sex.

And we respect that.

‘No, it’s still only 13 days,’ they told us before adding: ‘We’ve been respectful, it wasn’t about whether we were on camera or not, it’s just how we carry ourselves as people.’

Amber and Greg then went onto discuss where they see their relationship heading, and how they definitely only have eyes for each other.

‘I don’t think it’s in our nature to see other people,’ they confessed: ‘We’re both very loyal and we’re definitely only going to be seeing each other.’
