Montana Brown broke down in tears as she recalled a phone-call she had with Mike Thalassitis before he committed suicide.

The 24-year-old became friends with Mike on Love Island in 2017 and supported him through his battle with depression before he died by hanging on March 15.

Mike, 26, was found in a park with traces of cocaine, alcohol and an anti-depressant in his system.

Speaking on International Suicide Prevention Day, an emotional Montana urged people suffering from depression to confide in their friends and know they were not a ‘burden’.

She said in an Instagram clip on Wednesday: ‘I just wanted to speak to all of you. If any of you have ever been depressed or have ever thought about taking your own life or wanting to terminate your life, then I want you to watch this.’

‘I can understand that you might feel like you’re a burden or you don’t deserve help or you’re annoying people by saying you’re depressed or that you’ve got problems and I can guarantee you that you’re not.’

The reality star went on: ‘You’re not a burden on anybody because the people around you absolutely love you and if you can’t see that then that’s such a shame but I’m here to tell you that they do and not just your family.

It’s so important for you to realise you got put on this world and you’ve got a choice and you are living, you’re breathing, you are thriving.’

Montana’s voice wavered and she started crying as she told fans: ‘These are all things I would have said to my friend that terminated his life. And if he was still here then I would say, “Come to me, talk to me”, because I would do anything to have him back today.’

The ITV2 star then recalled a time when Mike rang her and she consoled him for two hours, explaining all the reasons why he was an ‘amazing person’.

‘I remember Mike actually calling me in the middle of the night which was kind of weird for him because he’d never usually do that,’ she shared.

‘I have to say after speaking to him for a couple of hours and tying to make him feel better and make him realise he’s an amazing person and life is worth living that it made me feel better, and I didn’t think he was a burden, I loved the fact he confided in me and chose to call me and reached out.’

Montana added: ‘I wish Mike could see how many people were at his funeral, how many people adored him, how many amazing things that everyone had to say about him.

‘Maybe we don’t say those nice things enough to our friends, that they’re amazing and we cherish them, so don’t give up yet please, I’m asking you, please don’t give up.’

Montana – who previously called for people to be ‘nicer’ to their friends – concluded her message: ‘Don’t give up on your life, life is precious.’

The Newcastle beauty, who was crowned this year’s winner of Love Island alongside ex-boyfriend Greg, has made a triumphant return to social media as a newly single woman.

She and Greg have confirmed their split over the last week, with their relationship ending just a matter of weeks of them returning to the outside world from the villa.

But, proving she isn’t one to sit around and cry over a boy, Amber declared she is ‘back’, with her smile fully intact, as she posted for the first time since her break up on Instagram.

In the snap, Amber looks fierce while sassily posing in a fitted black bodysuit, denim hot pants and white trainers.

She added another snap of her laughing away, as she larked about behind-the-scenes at Thorpe Park with security.

Amber told fans: ‘It’s been a minute but I’m back,’ before adding: ‘Swipe for a smile.’

Fans were quick to throw their support behind the reality star, with a fair few pointing out that her snap is picture proof of exactly what Greg is missing.

He was first to confirm he and Amber had split while appearing on The Late Late Show over in Ireland and denied speculation he had dumped her by text.

Greg explained that the long distance between them – he is based in Ireland, while Amber is in Newcastle – and their careers made it difficult for the pair’s romance to work.

Amber, though, was quick to call her ex out, as she pointed out that they always knew they were going to have to contend with work and being based apart.

Having her say during an appearance on Loose Women, she claims Greg did call things off over text and that she’s disappointed he didn’t try harder to make it work.

‘I don’t know what changed. I kind of wanted to make it work, but it is what it is really,’ she said. ‘I am disappointed that it’s over, but I’m booked and I’m busy. I’ll be fine.’

Love Island winner Amber Gil has finally announced her first major money move since leaving the villa – she’s the new face of clothing brand Miss Pap ‘as part of an exciting £1million deal’.

The Newcastle beauty is the newest Miss Pap babe after the brand’s acquisition by the boohoo group, and she admitted it had been killing her to keep the secret from her fans for so long.

Taking to Instagram to share an advert for her collaboration with the brand, Amber explained that she had been keen to take her time so she could ensure the clothes actually embodied her personal style.

‘Oh hey it’s just me your NEW MISSPAP babe,’ she wrote. ‘I honestly cannot believe it!! Soooo excited to be a part of the fresh Miss Pap brand.’

The beautician added: ‘It’s been a long-anticipated announcement by me and I’ve been dying to tell you all. However, I wanted to take my time in the design process so my collection is perfect, embodies my style and more importantly is inclusive for girls of all shapes and sizes.

‘I cannot wait for you to see what I’ve been working on you know it’s going to be GOOOD.’

In a press release about the new deal, the brand revealed that ‘the six-month exclusive deal will kick off with the launch of Amber’s first ever-clothing collection due to launch in October.’

Amber Gill commented: ‘I am so happy to be joining the new MissPap family and to be a part of the fresh MissPap brand.

‘Since leaving Love Island everyone has been waiting for me to announce my clothing collection but I wanted to take my time in the design process to make sure everything is perfect for girls of all shapes and sizes, but also ensure it embodies my fashion sense, fun, sexy and easy.

She added: ‘My collections will feature a range of going out, gym and loungewear mixed with essential day time bits too.’

The first full Amber x MissPap collection – an all-inclusive range offering sizes from 6-26 – will include fabrics that shimmer & drape, with exaggerated sleeves, ruches and plunge necklines.

Just when you thought you couldn’t be more enamoured with Maura Higgins, she reveals she got punished by Love Island bosses for stealing wine. We stan and relate in equal measure.

Unlike Big Brother or Ex On The Beach, Love Island bosses tread carefully when supplying the bast with booze, allowing just one or two drinks a night. Imagine?

So Maura took matters into her own hands.

‘One night I went to the larder where the drinks get prepared and there’s like a water dispenser there,’ she grinned during her appearance on Ireland’s The Late Late Show.

‘I went in before everyone else and I downed everyone’s wine and I filled it up with water.  And I got in really big trouble.  The whole island got punished the following night because I got really drunk.

‘I shouldn’t have probably said that.  I’ll get in big trouble now!’

Maura’s become somewhat of a pop cultural phenomonen since leaving Love Island, at least if you ask anyone at Metro.co.uk. The 28-year-old has landed several presenting jobs on This Morning, inked a massive £500,000 deal with Boohoo and is currently tipped to join either I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here! or Dancing on Ice.

Speaking to us at this week’s TV Choice Awards, the Irish model refused to quash rumours she was either entering the jungle or risking her life on the rink.

‘I’ve heard a lot of things that I’m supposedly meant to be going on and you know what, who knows,’ she teased.

‘Right now, I’m just taking every day as it comes and there are lots of exciting opportunities there but I can’t really comment on anything because I really don’t know.’

Love Island’s Lucie Donlan has opened up about finding out who her ‘real friends’ are, as she admitted she hasn’t kept in touch with Amy Hart after the villa.

The surfer, 21, also revealed she hasn’t kept in touch with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury after their awkward love triangle on the show, when she said she should have stuck with Tommy all along.

She explained: ‘I haven’t kept in contact with them since leaving the villa, they’ve obviously been really busy which is good for them,’ she told the MailOnline of Tommy and Molly.

Lucie had also struck up a friendship with Amy in the early days of the show, but rumours of a rift have been circling the pair ever since.

She tellingly admitted: ‘When we were in the villa, we were only close for only one or two days, everyone was getting on during that time as the experience was new and exciting.

‘You find your real friends when you get to know each other.’ Ouch.

The pair had seemingly fallen out when Amy accused Lucie of ‘ditching’ her in order to spend time with the boys in the villa.

Lucie then had to confront Amy when the former air hostess was caught talking about her behind her back with other contestants.

It only intensified when Lucie was seen appearing not to clap for Amy after her interview with Caroline Flack during the reunion show.

Molly, Tommy and Amy might be off the Christmas card list, but Lucie has stayed in touch with some of the other contestants.

She explained: ‘I’ve been really close to Belle [Hassan], we’ve got completely different personalities but we really get each other.

‘I’ve spoken to Joanna [Chimonides] and I’ve also kept in touch with Maura [Higgins] too, but she’s a bit busy. It’s been really nice to have them girly friends from the show.’

Love Island star Maura Higgins made a new appearance on This Morning as the show headed to Downton Abbey for the day.

Thursday’s episode, presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, came live from Highclere Castle where the much loved drama is filmed.

The hosts were joined by members of the This Morning family, including the most recent member Maura.

While she usually appears in an agony aunt capacity dishing out tough love during the phone-ins, this week she was in a more humble role as a housemaid.

The reality TV star gamely dressed up as a maid for the occasion, and was found dutifully dusting when Alison Hammond dropped by for a chat.

But in true Maura style, she declared she wasn’t happy with her position and would work her way ‘upstairs’ as soon as possible.

She joked: ‘I should be upstairs because I am a lady. I’m not enjoying the dusting. I’m gonna work my way up.’

In her chat with Alison she dropped some knowledge on the famous films that had been shot at Highclere Castle, including Tom Cruise-starrer Eyes Wide Shut and The Secret Garden.

Also on the show, Holly and Phil interviewed stars of the Downton Abbey movie Michael Fox and Tuppence Middleton, and had a chat with the owner Lady Carnarvon.

She told the show that while she is a big Downton fan, filming at the castle can get a bit ‘messy’.

‘You don’t see the glamour,’ she explained.

‘You just see the computer village and cameras everywhere, and people in black parkas. And you see, the people they open every single window in February. ‘And they say “oh it’s so cold, how do you live here?” And it’s like, “we don’t open all the windows”.’

After getting the fresh inking on 29 July at TattooLand while on holiday in the Spanish seaside resort, she even caught the attention of Chris on the dating show’s reunion special.

The Somerset-via-Anglesey woman wanted to create a lasting memory of the 29-year-old, who scored many a fan during his short-but-sweet time in the Spanish villa.

So, a tattoo of Chris Taylor? What made you go with him?

Chris was, for me, the most relatable person on the show.

I saw the picture [of him in the towel] and I feel like he represents a mood. That’s quite hard to explain, but I saw it and was like “yep, that is my mood today”.

While he was in the Love Island villa he was genuine.

I mean I know most contestants are, but he didn’t shy away from his emotions, he was weird, in a good way, and it was hard not to like him.

Since getting the tribute, have you been able to meet him?

Not yet. But if he ever does a meet and greet near me, I’ll definitely be going.

He shared your tattoo online, calling it ‘legend status’, what was that like having the recognition?

Honestly, it was a bit crazy. I never expected to it blow up, let alone him see it!

My friends all messaged me on the day of the final (which was the day I got it) saying he shared it. I was like, “well that was fast”.

What’s the general response been like since it came out you had Chris tattooed onto you?

It’s been hectic. I’ve had people messaging me that I don’t know, and people calling me a fame hungry woman, or an idiot, etc.

But I’ve had more lovely comments. I thought a few of my friends would see and that’s it, but then a newspaper saw it and it went a bit crazy!

Some of my friends think it’s hilarious, some think it’s weird, but I guess it sums me up – I am weird.

Any other Love Island tattoos we should know about?

[Laughs] No, not yet! I have been told to get Crazy Crumpet tattooed underneath it – which is what he called me in his post.

Was there a time when you regretted getting it?

Not a chance. I don’t think I will ever regret it. It is something that I wanted in that moment. If you start thinking about things you may regret, then you won’t be having fun (obviously bar crimes and that sort of thing…).’

The Love Island cast were forced to reshoot scenes if they stumbled when reading out text messages.

Maura Higgins, who came fourth in this year’s show with her partner Curtis Pritchard, has opened up on what happens during the popular dating show when the cameras stop rolling.

And it sounds as though there’s more to being an islander than lounging in the sun.

When chatting to RTE, the former ring girl was asked if they ever had to reshoot scenes when producers weren’t happy.

Pulling a face at the question, the outspoken reality star grinned: ‘Yes, yeah we did.’

She went on: ‘Just say for instance if a text came through and you weren’t as loud or you stumbled on your words, you’d have to retake.’

Which does make sense considering the texts are such a crucial part of the series.

‘Obviously because, I mean, some words I’d be like… I’d say it wrong and I’d be like, “aww…”‘ she explained: ‘I’d have to do it again. Which happened a lot actually.’

Maura recently landed several presenting jobs on This Morning, as well as a £500,000 deal with boohoo.

Chatting to Metro.co.uk ahead of her clothing line announcement, the 28-year-old confessed that she thought the public wouldn’t like her when leaving the villa.

And boy was she wrong.

‘I was expecting hate when I came out! I wasn’t expecting people to be so nice,’ she told us.

‘I thought I’d get hate because I was so opinionated in there, but it was all really nice. I was definitely surprised how positive it’s all been.’

And it seems as though we might be seeing even more of our Love Island fav, as she failed to quash those I’m A Celeb rumours.

Jesy Nelson’s BBC documentary Odd One Out airs tonight and includes the singer talking about the abuse she has received on social media, and attempting to take her own life.

The Little Mix singer will also speak about how it affected her mental health, while her bandmates will also share their own thoughts on how it changed their group.

Jesy Nelson’s partner Chris Hughes will also be speaking out their relationship since they started dating at the start of last year.

He has recently described her as a ‘role model’ and recently commented that he wants to marry her and start a family.

When was Chris Hughes on Love Island?

Chris Hughes took part in the third series of Love Island, which aired in 2017.

He joined the group on day four and lasted until the finale of the show, finishing in third place with his partner Olivia Attwood.

He had initially coupled up with Chloe Crowhurst when he joined, but by day 20 he had coupled up with Olivia and then they remained together until the end.

The couple confirmed that they had ‘split for good’ in February 2018, and it was claimed that he had ended their relationship by text.

What else has Chris Hughes been in?

Since Love Island Chris Hughes has mainly stayed in the media spotlight with appearances on various game shows and panel shows.

After leaving the island he took part in Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live, and then made appearances in Celebrity Juice and How to Spend It Well at Christmas.

Love Island star Yewande Biala has proudly rocked her natural afro hair on social media for the first time after being criticised for wearing weaves and wigs.

Like many women of colour, the 23-year-old scientist often changes her hairstyles whether it be a bone-straight weave or curly wigs because, you know, what’s life if you can’t have fun with your hair.

But it seems Yewande received negative feedback from some Instagram followers who felt she should have worn her natural hair in one of her latest posts.

Well, their wish has been fulfilled as Yewande blessed their feeds with the first photo of her natural hair and, honestly, it’s beautiful.

Since leaving Love Island, Yewande has basically been living her best life hanging out with her besties, Amber Gill and Anna Vakili, and jet-setting around the world.

Love Island star Amber Gill is reported to have signed an incredible £1 million deal with MissPap so you can’t blame her for wearing a huge smile at Maura Higgins’ Boohoo party.

The 23-year-old beautician reunited with her Love Island pals on Thursday evening to celebrate Maura’s own lucrative deal with popular fashion brand Boohoo, which she is now an ambassador for.

Love Island’s Lucie Donlan claims none of the cast hear from Molly-Mae Hague any more, and is sad that they have lost touch.

The surfer, who ended up causing a bit of a love triangle when she tried to poach Tommy Fury away from Molly, revealed that she has lost touch with the influencer.

She explained: ‘No one really speaks to her. A lot of people are doing their own thing. I guess they’re concentrating on their future and stuff which is really good and it’s nice to see them doing really well.

‘I guess it’s such a shame we don’t keep in touch as much as we all should,’ she told The Sun.

‘It would be nice to get everyone together and hang out and stuff. But I think everyone’s doing their own thing so that’s probably why we haven’t heard from many people.’

Despite Lucie’s claims, Molly-Mae was supported by most of her female Love Island cast members at her PrettyLittleThing clothing launch at the start of September, however neither Lucie nor Yewande Biala were there.

Yewande revealed during an Instagram Q&A with Anna Vakili that she hadn’t been invited, explaining: ‘Well we don’t really speak to each other. Yeah, I didn’t get invited so I take that as a no.’

When a fan questioned whether Yewande was actually busy on the night and that’s why she couldn’t make it, Anna added: ‘She was not busy at all, she was very much free.’ Awk.

Love Island ended five weeks ago, with Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea being crowned winners, taking home a whopping £50,000.

But, in the 46 days since, the couple have broken up, while Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk, and Chris Taylor and Harley Brash also following suit.

And it turns out, the official Love Island 2019 WhatsApp group seems to have gone the same way, and is basically non-existent.

Maura Higgins broke the sad news exclusively to Metro.co.uk while at her Boohoo launch, held at the seriously swanky Nobu Shoreditch.

When asked if the infamous chat is still going, the 28-year-old said: ‘Hmmm, I think there is one…

‘I don’t usually tend to use groups much, so I’m actually unsure about that.

‘I know there was one, there probably still is….’

Well, if it is alive, it sounds riveting…

Maura recently made headlines after admitting she was secretly punished while in the Love Island villa – for stealing booze from the pantry.

Of. Course.

During an appearance on The Late Late Show, Curtis Pritchard’s girlfriend let slip that she was told off for ‘downing everyone’s wine’ one night, before replacing it all with water.

Discussing the rule break, she told us the Islanders were all in hot water over her antics, but no one minded being punished.

‘I’ve had so many messages about that, everyone has said that’s so funny, but it’s normal, I’m Irish, I’m a party girl,’ she continued.

‘In there [the villa] some nights you only get one [drink], some nights you get two. I was like, “I just want a drink”. I didn’t do it again though, everyone else got punished for my behaviour.

‘No one was allowed alcohol the following night. I felt a bit bad about it but no one minded, no one got annoyed with me.

‘I think they know I’d get fiery at them.’

She does make a good point…

The natural hair movement was long overdue, and enough can’t be said about why it has been so wonderful to see a plethora of black stars rocking their natural locks on-screen and in real life.

But after Love Island’s Yewande Biala was forced to defend herself from cruel comments regarding her choice to wear weaves and wigs, I was once again reminded about how unfair it is to demand that our favourite stars be all-natural, all the time.

As one of the few black contestants to appear on Love Island, Yewande was instantly thrust into the position of representing black women across the country. And for some fans, the fact she never wore out her natural hair during her time in the Majorcan villa was disappointing.

The issue was raised again after the 23-year-old scientist shared a post on her Instagram detailing her hair journey this week, with fans commenting that it would have been more powerful if she had worn her natural hair instead of the wavy locks seen in the snap.

In response, Yewande posted a snap of her natural hair in all its glory, and I instantly understood why she would prefer to use a protective style.

Our good sis Yewande has been on Team Natural for four years and she has the most amazing, healthy-looking head of hair to show for it.

But this is partly due to the fact she avoids using heat on her natural hair, instead choosing to cover it up with fun hairstyles such a bone-straight weave or a curly wig.

‘I’m aware and I’ve seen all the comments that I should have had my natural hair out for my last post,’ she wrote to her fans.

‘My hair is 4c and I PERSONALLY find it hard to manage without heat ! I don’t like putting heat on my hair ! my schedule is busy and protective styles suits ME!’

She added: ‘I love my hair and I’m not ashamed to have it natural… my black is beautiful ! [sic].’

As a fellow 4b/4c hair type, I know exactly what Yewande means when she says her natural locks are harder to manage without heat. Type 4 curls can be wiry and coarse, with very densely packed coils.

While some girls are able to take the time and effort to look after their kinky curls, for a lot of us it is not something that we can fit into our busy routines.

Let alone a celebrity who has to glam up and style their locks on a daily basis, meaning a whole lot of heat and product is used in a way that can easily lead to unnecessary damage.

The likes of Cardi B, Rihanna, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland rock a mix of natural and protective styles depending on their schedules, and it is their prerogative to do so.

I don’t know about you but I tend to arrive at my hair appointment makeup-free and in no mood to pose for any camera. So that could be a reason why our favourite stars don’t tend to post up more with their natural locks.

However, going forward I do think more regular posts of the moments when they do have their hair out in all its glory could do a lot to help satisfy the fans that are so eager to see more of it.

Yes, it would have been nice if Yewande had her natural locks visible for that Instagram post. But I really don’t think it is fair for us to basically ask someone to do potential damage to the hair they have spent so long nurturing.

Representation of natural hair in the public eye absolutely matters – but not at the expense of healthy locks.

There’s nothing worse than turning up to a party in the exact same outfit as someone else, but Love Island stars Montana Brown and Joanna Chimonides saw the funny side when it happened to them this week.

The girls both chose coral two-pieces to head to an Oh Polly launch dinner in London this week, and what makes it even more awkward is… there was a THIRD GIRL in the same outfit at the same event too.

Joanna shared a video of her with the other girl on Instagram, as well as a photo of Montana, captioned: ‘Hey twin’.

The two-piece from Oh Polly is available on their website for £50 in total – so fans can emulate (and quadruple or quintuple?) the girls.

They weren’t the only Love Island stars who were in attendance at the event – Amy Hart also arrived in a beige low-cut jumpsuit and Arabella Chi rocked a white dress and blazer.

Alexandra Cane also arrived looking like the bombshell that she is in a red form-fitting gown while Samira Mighty went for sports luxe in jogging bottoms paired with a bra and leather jacket.

Joanna is still single after her tumultuous relationship with Michael Griffiths on Love Island, after the ‘chaldish’ contestant struggled to choose between her and Amber Gill.

However, he has since come out to say that he would like to pursue a relationship with her outside of the villa, but it doesn’t look like Joanna is super keen to make that happen.

Joanna and Michael were seen kissing at Kiss FM’s Kisstory on the Common event after they exited the show but have not been seen together since.

Well, if she ever needs to make a quick exit to avoid seeing him at a party, having two decoys in identical outfits in tow is no doubt going to help.

Love Island star Amy Hart has finally explained her dinner date with radio DJ Toby Anstis, and it turns out they’re just good friends.

Last month the pair were spotted making their way to Soho House for a bite to eat after enjoying an evening at the West End where they watched The Lion King.

But while fans speculated whether or not the former flight attendant was moving on from her ex-beau Curtis Pritchard, Amy has since told Metro.co.uk that she is still happily single.

When chatting to us ahead of the William Hill St Leger Festival, on Friday, the star said: ‘I went on his radio show last minute, and he was very kind and took me to see The Lion King to say thank you, and that’s all it was.’

Speaking fondly of her newfound friend, the 27-year-old added: ‘But yeah, he’s a really nice guy but not for me.’

We went onto ask if there was anyone special in her life at the moment, but it seems Amy is just happy to throw herself into work.

After all, the reality star has many ‘exciting things’ in the pipeline that she’s yet to announce.

‘I’m just working all the time,’ Amy confessed while on the train to another event: ‘I’m out and about everywhere, and here there and everywhere, but it’s really lucky to be this busy as well.’

Although she couldn’t confirm any secret projects she’s working on at the moment, the former islander did hint she’ll be taking a step into the fashion world, just like her Love Island co-stars Maura Higgins and Molly-Mae.

‘I just need to find something that fits me,’ she said: ‘Like, I will only promote or endorse things that are me and fit my brand and what I do and believe in, so it’s trying to find the right thing. ‘

We asked if she had found the right thing, to which Amy laughed: ‘Yes’.

Earlier this year, she revealed she had to quit her job with British Airways because of safety fears.

The Loose Women guest panellist is usually is in charge of the whole plane, but people had begun to film her at work.

‘I can’t work there anymore because I am there to be in charge of the safety of the whole plane, and right now that just wouldn’t be attainable because people would be filming,’ she said.

‘People filmed us when I hadn’t been on a TV show that millions of people had watched, people would be trying to pick up on everything I did wrong.’

Love Island’s Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have celebrated their year wedding anniversary with one heck of a cheeky snap.

The duo were the first Love Island couple to tie the knot and the pair have celebrated their big day with a series of Instagram posts that can only be described as peach perfect.

If you’re at work or on public transport, maybe don’t open these in public…

The reality stars took to Instagram on their special day with a string of nude selfies.

Because you know what they say: sun’s out, buns out.

Relaxing by a turquoise pool overlooking the stunning Greek sea (we’re not jealous at all, it’s fine), they stripped off to their pants for the cheeky pictures.

‘Here’s to the next year of marriage,’ Olivia wrote, as her and her husband stood by the pool.

In contrast, Alex was the main feature in his own picture, standing heroically by the water while his wifey lay down on a sun lounger (sans clothes, of course.)

‘1st year of marriage is going great if I do say so myself,’ the Wolverhampton native captioned his post, referencing his ‘little white cheeks,’ while adding: ‘what’s @oliviadbuck staring at?’

We might have to let Olivia answer that one, if you don’t mind.

Getting together on the second series of Love Island, Olivia and Alex have been one of the very few couples to buck the instant-break up trend and actually form a long-term relationship with their partner outside the villa.

Surrounded by friends, family and a couple of reality stars, the pair said their vows last year in a lavish ceremony at Gosfield Hall in Essex.

Other long-lasting couples to come out of the show have included series three’s Jess Shears and Dom Lever (who are expecting their first kid together), Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt and Series two’s Cara Delahoyde and Nathan Massey.

Love Island star Malin Andersson has bared all for X Factor hopeful Ella Henderson’s first music video in four years, revealing that she was ‘so happy’ to take part.

Glorious sees Ella sing about accepting flaws, and includes people of all genders revealing their own personal believed flaws such as scars, stretch marks and wrinkly skin.

Malin tweeted a first look at her appearance, sharing with fans: ‘I’m so happy to be part of @EllaHenderson new music video.

‘Her latest song is stunning and the words resonate with me so much. Go and listen to ‘Glorious’ out now! (My first-ever music video be nice haha).’

Malin had a devastating few years after tragically losing both her parents to cancer, with mum Consy dying in 2017.

She was forced to deal with grief once more when her baby daughter, Consy – named after her late mum – sadly died at the beginning of 2019, just a month after she was born seven-weeks premature.

‘When you suffer stuff or loss. If you let it kind of define who you are, it will eat you up. So it’s best to let it make you a better person,’ she told Metro.co.uk.

She has since become a vocal advocate for body positivity in the public eye, showing off her ‘real self’ – complete with stretch marks and cellulite – on social media, when others share airbrushed glimpses of their lives.

Ella, 23, shot to fame on the X Factor six years ago during the same run as James Arthur, but with long delays on her album she was then axed by Syco.

Ella released her debut album in 2014 and it shot to number one, but work on her second album had been ‘stop-start’ until she signed a record deal with Asylum Records’ imprint Major Toms – operated by the British group Rudimental – and confirmed to fans that she was working on new material.

She will release an EP, also called Glorious, on 8 November 2019.

Love Island star Amy Hart has thrown her support behind Amber Gill following her split from Greg O’Shea.

The pair decided to call things off in order to soak up the amazing opportunities they’ve been offered since leaving the show.

And despite their break upcoming as a shock to fans, it seems the queen of the villa is doing just fine.

When chatting to Metro.co.uk ahead of the William Hill St Leger Festival, on Friday, Amy revealed she’d been in contact with her buddy since hearing the news.

The former flight attendant told us: ‘Yeah it’s always sad when anyone splits up – we just have to be there for them and make sure they’re okay.

‘I speak to Amber a lot, so I have spoken to her, but I’ve only met Greg once. But she is doing fine, I’ve never known her not to bounce back.’

Greg recently broke his silence on their split, after it was rumoured he’d dumped his gal via text.

When chatting on Ireland’s version of The Late Late Show, he said: ‘Well, first of all, I know it’s the old saying, but don’t believe everything you read.

‘We will be open and honest – we have been chatting the last couple of days, all this thing over text isn’t true.

‘We’re mad about each other, what’s not to be mad about her? She is the queen of Love Island for a reason.’

He went on: ‘She lives in the UK, and so many brands want to work with her, and she deserves all of it, and I came back here.

‘We’re all jam-packed busy, we are being realistic about this situation. But I am mad about her, and she is about me.’

Amber has since addressed the announcement, saying she wasn’t expecting to be dumped by her beau.

Talking on Loose Women, she confessed: ‘I am disappointed that it’s over, but I’m booked and I’m busy. I’ll be fine. Onwards and upwards from here.’

Looks like the Love Island beef between Amy Hart and Maura Higgins is continuing, as Amy has claimed she not invited to Maura’s BooHoo launch on Thursday.

Amy and Maura famously insisted there were no issues between the pair when Curtis Pritchard broke Amy’s heart and then cracked straight on with Irish ring girl Maura.

But reps for Amy have confirmed to Metro.co.uk that ‘Amy definitely was not invited to Maura’s launch on Thursday’, with sources close to the reality star insisting that Amy ‘wasn’t surprised’ to not hear from Maura or her team.

‘Amy wasn’t surprised to not have an invite as she didn’t even know it was happening – she has zero interest in what Maura is doing,’ the insider told Metro.co.uk.

‘If Maura did invite her, she wouldn’t have gone because she is keen not to see Maura and Curtis together in the same room. Too awkward.

‘Who wants to see the man they loved with their new woman?’

Fair.

The source, however, added that the Love Island reunion, which aired live on ITV a week after the 2019 season ended, was ‘horrible’ for Amy, and that was the last time she spoke to the pair.

‘She felt awkward seeing them together and being sandwiched between them on the show, and when you know all eyes are on your reaction, it makes it 10 times worse,’ the pal said.

‘So Amy’s doing what is right for her and keeping a safe distance.’

The 27-year-old, however, has been off doing her own thing – including enjoying dinner dates with 90s idol Toby Anstis.
