Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague has hit out at YouTubers who have criticised her Beauty Works collection, claiming some do it ‘just for the views.’

The former islander, who has her own beauty YouTube channel, has recently become an ambassador for the brand.

However, she revealed it’s ‘hard’ to watch videos of her own collection being reviewed online.

‘I’m not going to lie because YouTubers go in, it’s not nice,’ the 20-year-old admitted to The Mirror.

The star added: ‘People have gone in on their channels and YouTubers I used to really respect. Everyone’s got an opinion.

‘Nothing gets better views than when you put like, “Oh my god this is awful”, it’ll get views so some people just do it for the views and that’s fine, let them.’

It seems the former islander, whose relationship with boxer Tommy Fury is going strong, knows what she’s talking about after she revealed to Metro.co.uk that she was the go-to hairdresser in the villa.

She explained: ‘I always did the girls’ hair for them. It was a bit of running joke because I was the hairdresser in there and I was the wardrobe.

‘Everyone used to go to my wardrobe for the outfits and they used to come to me if they wanted pin curls, if they wanted a French braid or anything.’

Meanwhile, despite fellow islander Lucie Donlan’s claims that Molly-Mae hadn’t been keeping in contact with the others from the villa, she recently revealed she’s simply not bothered.

Molly-Mae explained to Metro.co.uk: ‘Yeah, not really, because it’s not the case. I do still see the people that I was close with in the villa and Lucie and I weren’t close in the villa.

‘So she would say that because I’d say the same about her because we don’t speak, we weren’t close. And obviously circumstances just mean that we’re not close like that.

‘So it didn’t surprise me an article like that came out because it is the case, we don’t speak.

‘But I do speak to other people, I’m very, very close to Maura [Higgins] and I was on the phone to her last night for two hours. The people that have been close to in the villa, I speak to and that’s completely untrue. I didn’t even blink twice at it.’

Tell ’em, girl.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury share a kiss, proving the doubters wrong as they remain one of only three couples still happily together six weeks on from the end of Love Island.

Laden down with bags – including BooHoo with whom the pair have both partnered with for collaborations – the pair looked over the moon to be back in Molly’s home town as they arrived into Manchester Piccadilly Train Station.

Packing on the PDA for the cameras, the two looked like they are still going strong after some time in London.

India Reynolds and Ovie Soko, and Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins, are the other couples who remain together after their time in the villa.

Molly-Mae has recently come under fire from fellow YouTubers who have criticised her Beauty Works collection but she went on to hit back, claiming some like to criticise ‘just for the views’.

Love Island star Amber Gill has revealed she constantly gets fans telling her she should date co-star Ovie Soko.

The 22-year-old beauty therapist won this year’s seasons show, taking home a cool £50,000 with fellow contestant Greg O’Shea.

But just five weeks after taking out the top spot together, Amber said Greg dumped her via text (a fact he strongly denies).

And now it seems like fans are trying to ship her and bestie from the show, Ovie. This is despite Ovie still going strong with couple India Reynolds.

Amber told the RTS Cambridge Conference: ‘I get messages every day about me and a certain other islander. They wanted me to get together with him so badly.’

Amber and Ovie *did* look like they had an amazing connection in the villa, to be fair!

When asked what it’s like dealing with the pressure from fans to know everything about her love life, she responded: ‘A big thing for my generation is the control in being interactive.

‘They want to see what’s happened behind the scenes. They want to see what is happening after. They want to see behind closed doors.

‘If I don’t post on Instagram for a few days I get a million messages like, “What are you doing? What are you doing?”

‘So just like YouTube, showing what’s going on behind the scenes, what happens next.’

Earlier this week, Ovie and India got a playful telling off from Supermarket Sweep host Rylan Clark-Neal for being ‘intimate’.

Rylan joked: ‘Can I just say now while I’m chatting to you guys, Ovie and India – you’re getting very intimate in my supermarket. This is like a swimming pool. We can’t have any heavy petting in here thank you.’

He added: ‘Keep your hands to yourself and your fingers on the buzzers, thank you very much.’

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has called on BBC bosses to bring more Love Island contestants onto the dancefloor.

It has long been rumoured that the show has turned its back on the reality star, focusing on the broadcaster’s favourites, and in recent years, influencers.

But Craig, who will join the judging panel once again in 2019, has suggested that the inclusion of the islanders will make the show ‘inclusive’.

‘I don’t know if Love Island stars will be on Strictly in the future, but I hope so,’ he said.

‘I think now that is the craze, YouTube and reality TV stars are coming to the forefront, I think you have to be prepared for that.’

He told The Sun: ‘You have to keep it classy, you want to keep it social, and it is important to be inclusive – that’s my kind of thing.’

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is all systems go on Saturday 21 September as the couples make their live show debuts in the ballroom.

The series kicked off in early September as this year’s celebrities were paired with their pro dance partners.

And it’s already got off to a dramatic start with Jamie Laing dropping out due to injury, to be replaced by former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher.

‘I was devastated when Jamie hurt himself and I had a long, tearful conversation with him,’ Oti admitted to Radio Times.

‘For a while I thought I had no partner and I was in bed all day thinking, “I can’t do the show!” In moments like that you realise how much you love something.

‘I was feeling really bad, but one of the producers said, “We’ll see what we can do.”‘

With the inevitable back and forth that comes with a public breakup for a Love Island couple, Greg O’Shea has insisted he is fine with how things ended with Amber Gill.

With claims of breaking up via a text message, something to which Greg has denied but Amber has insisted on, the Irish rugby player has said he knows the truth behind it.

And that’s what helps him sleep at night.

The pair broke up just five weeks after taking out the top prize and the £50,000 prizemoney that came with it, days after they started dating in the Spanish villa.

A national treasure they both were – until long-distance (Greg is based in Dublin and Amber in Newcastle) got the better of them and they decided to call it a day.

Speaking on Ryan Tubridgy’s Radio One Show, Greg was asked about their split.

Ever the gentleman, he was more than complimentary of his ex, having recently said he was ‘mad about her’.

‘Amber’s doing great stuff over in the UK,’ he said this week.

‘I can be happy with myself that I know the truth and I know what’s happened.’

Insisting there was no bad blood between the two of them, he continued: ‘I’m not going to badmouth [Amber], she’s got great stuff going on, and I can be happy with myself, my friends, and my family knowing what actually happened.’

Greg said: ‘She can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best – she’s a great woman.’

Ever the diplomat this Greg.

Greg’s not had an easy time in the wake of his split from Amber. The aspiring lawyer confirmed they were no longer dating during an appearance on Ireland’s The Late Late Show, where he blamed the long-distance and their busy work schedules. However, he denied breaking up with the beautician via text.

Fast forward a few days later and Amber seemed to have a slightly different version of the story to tell on Loose Women.

She claimed: ‘Definitely on that day it was a text. We were texting each other.

‘I think there was a bit of miscommunication but if you don’t want to be with someone, you don’t want to be with someone.’

Since their split, Greg has reportedly lost 25,000 Instagram followers and fans called for him to give his share of the Love Island prize money to Amber.

There’s rumours of a few rifts between the class of Love Island 2019, with Lucie Donlan claiming that nobody sees much of Molly Mae Hague anymore.

But at India Reynolds’s Boohoo launch dinner, it was Lucie and her boyfriend Joe Garratt who didn’t see much of their former villa-mates.

During the private dinner at swanky Mayfair restaurant Bagatelle, Lucie, 21, and Joe, 23, were seated away from the rest of the Love Island stars who had gathered to support India.

The couple were seated on a table with George Rains – who was previously dumped by Lucie – and 2018 islanders Laura Anderson and Kendall Rae Knight.

However, on a table across the room, the rest of the 2019 islanders enjoyed a meal together, including Amber Gill, Anna Vakili, Belle Hassan, Francesca Allen, Yewande Biala and Harley Brash.

The ladies were joined by a number of friends and Boohoo reps, while India, 28, sat with a group of friends, including 2018 islander Laura Crane.

Earlier in the night, though, Lucie was pictured chatting to Belle and India, so we doubt a major rift was to blame for the seating plan.

Both Lucie and Joe were pictured on social media repping India’s campaign, and in fairness, both Lucie and Joe had left the villa by the time India entered.

Lucie’s main beef seems to be with Molly, as she recently told The Sun: ‘No one really speaks to her. A lot of people are doing their own thing. I guess they’re concentrating on their future and stuff which is really good and it’s nice to see them doing really well.

‘I guess it’s such a shame we don’t keep in touch as much as we all should. It would be nice to get everyone together and hang out and stuff. But I think everyone’s doing their own thing so that’s probably why we haven’t heard from many people.’

Molly fired back that she and Lucie aren’t that close – and she wasn’t present at India’s bash as she is on holiday with boyfriend Tommy Fury.

Also missing from India’s Boohoo soiree was her boyfriend Ovie Soko – with the model also skipping out on the basketball star’s ASOS launch earlier this week.

However, it’s been claimed that a rivalry between the brands is the issue, rather than a break-up, as India and Ovie have assured fans they are still together.

Thank goodness for that.

At Bagatelle, the islanders were treated to delicious cocktails called The Ovie and Love From Reyn, before indulging in a slap-up meal of burrata, truffle pizza, lobster linguine and truffle gnocchi.

And everyone was in the party mood, as Francesca and India stood on their chairs during dinner and swung around napkins.

Classic Wednesday night, eh?

Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard has been unveiled as the new face of Weight Watchers, following his time in the villa.

The 23-year-old previously opened up about putting on two stone while appearing on the ITV2 dating show.

And he is ‘hoping to get a six-pack again’ by following in the footsteps of Robbie Williams and Kate Hudson, by using the slimming company’s healthy eating plan.

Confirming his news, Maura Higgins’ beau said: ‘I had an amazing time in the villa, it felt like an eight week holiday. My body changed shape because I wasn’t eating well or exercising.

‘I certainly didn’t expect to see the level of criticism I received when I left. I have never been overweight, but have seen my weight yo-yo throughout my childhood, and it can spiral out of control when I am off the road and not performing.

‘I have tried many ‘crash’ diets but none of them have worked for me. They don’t allow me to eat properly so I find myself binge-eating and the weight piles back on. This makes me feel really low and I lack motivation.’

‘I am really excited to join WW as an ambassador and pleased to be following a programme that’s right for me. For me this isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about being a healthier version of me.

‘I want to build healthy habits that allow me to adopt the right mindset, and sustain a healthier and active lifestyle that fits around my schedule.’

Curtis opened up about his weight after leaving Love Island, explaining he gained around two stone because he was ‘enjoying himself’ too much in the villa.

Well, it is basically a free holiday.

‘I gained around two stone. I enjoyed myself in the villa and I didn’t exercise a lot,’ he explained to the publication.

‘I liked to treat myself every now and again with food. I’m hoping to start training again soon. I find it good, physically and mentally. I need to sort my diet out, that’s the main thing.’

And the professional dancer admitted he would be chasing brother – and Strictly Come Dancing favourite – AJ Pritchard for some tips on how to tone up.

‘You can work out but if you don’t have a meal plan with a decent diet you’ve got no chance,’ he continued.

‘Hopefully AJ will give me some tips on getting a six-pack back.’

But AJ might want to hold off on those tips, after Curtis hinted he would be keen to join him on the Strictly dancefloor.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, the Dancing With The Stars pro told us: ‘If it came up then, depending on the time, perhaps I wouldn’t say no to it.

‘You know, dancing is something I love to do. It’s not a little hobby, it’s in my blood. My dad was a dancer, my brother is, I am. We’ve all done it so much and I wouldn’t say no to it.

‘Perhaps if the opportunity came at the right time, [then] yes.’

But the ITV2 star admitted the pair are ‘very competitive’ with each other, which could add another layer to Strictly Come Dancing…

‘The fact that I’m working with my brother now, I’m going on tour with him next year, it’s a dream come true,’ he added.

‘We are rivals in our dancing, and we are very, very competitive against each other.

‘But we always have each other’s back, we’ll always protect each other, and we do love each other.’

Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk split just five weeks after leaving Love Island, with claims that the Scot was more excited about seeing Craig David than he was his own girlfriend.

But there’s no bad blood between the two – and Belle is happy for her ex living the single life.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the 21-year-old addressed their break-up and insisted that she isn’t laying around heartbroken.

Chatting at India Reynolds’s Boohoo campaign launch, Belle said: ‘We still talk here and there but it’s really hard when he’s travelling and we’d go two or three days without talking.

‘And for me, when I’m seeing someone, I need more than that. At least if I’m not seeing you, call me, pick up the phone.

‘Obviously I’m sad, but what can you do, life goes on, get on with it. I think for him now, he’s a single boy, he’s enjoying fame and I’m happy for him.’

When we asked if she is in the single girl mindset, Belle said: ‘Definitely! I’m living my best life, I’m single. I’m sure he’s living his best life.’

However, despite both stars moving on, Belle said that all the feelings we saw in the villa were real.

The make-up artist said: ‘Everything I felt for Anton and everything I said was real. I did really fall for him, I did really like him – it’s just one of those things.’

And she isn’t ruling out a reunion, as she said: ‘I always say never say never, because if you say never, you look like a fool when you get back with them. But for right now, it’s not right for both of us.’

While some of the Love Island lot have struggled with their transition into the limelight post-villa, Belle had an insight into fame thanks to her dad, actor Tamer Hassan.

But while Tamer was Belle’s biggest fan while she was in the villa, the star of The Football Factory, Game Of Thrones and Snatch isn’t too impressed that he’s now known as the Love Island star’s relative.

Belle joked: ‘He’s like, “I’ve done f***ing 30 years in this industry and now I’m known as Belle’s dad! You’ve been known for five minutes and I’m known as Belle’s dad! Is that a joke?” It is what it is, hun, sorry.’

Love Island’s Amy Hart managed to avoid her rumoured flame Toby Anstis when attending the World Fashion Awards, in London, on Wednesday night.

The pair were spotted posing separately on the red carpet, at The Savoy Hotel, and by the looks of things didn’t even brush shoulders during the lavish evening.

Instead, the radio host was joined by the likes of TV presenter Louise Gookey, who joked about gatecrashing his pictures on her Instagram.

Taking to her story, the reporter, who was also hosting the show, uploaded a picture of herself dashing to the 48-year-old’s side as he smoldered down the camera lens.

Opening up his suit jacket, the star made sure to show off the rainbow coloured lining that he’d matched with a white tank top.

His photo-bomber Louise was also dressed to the nines in a grey floor length gown.

Meanwhile, Amy was getting glammed up with the celebrity stylist Jeff Mehmet.

While Toby went all out with his colourful attire, Amy kept things less bold, in gold and black sequined trousers.

The Love Island star was recently spotted heading to The Lion King with Toby before heading to Soho House for a bite to eat.

However, despite fans speculating whether there was a romantic spark between the pair, the former air stewardess insists they’re just friends.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘I went on his radio show last minute, and he was very kind and took me to see The Lion King to say thank you, and that’s all it was.’

Speaking fondly of her newfound friend, the 27-year-old added: ‘But yeah, he’s a really nice guy but not for me.’

The 27-year-old revealed she is happy living up her single life, and is currently throwing herself into work.

‘I’m just working all the time,’ she said: ‘I’m out and about everywhere, and here there and everywhere, but it’s really lucky to be this busy as well.’

Amy added: ‘I just need to find something that fits me. Like, I will only promote or endorse things that are me and fit my brand and what I do and believe in, so it’s trying to find the right thing. ‘

Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard has revealed further details of his upcoming tour with brother and Strictly professional AJ Pritchard, admitting the pair will both be the leads.

Despite concerns over which sibling may keep more of the focus during the live shows, Curtis revealed that the pair are keen to finally have fun together on the stage, after years of being bitter rivals on the dancefloor.

‘Obviously we are brothers so we are competitive, we argue, everybody argues in the family,’ said Curtis.

‘We’ve always danced and competed against each other, so now to be on a tour together where we can actually show the world how much we do love each other/hate each other because we are brothers.

‘But no, we can just perform on stage, have fun and be the two actual leads of our own show which is like a dream come true.’

Speaking on Hits Radio Breakfast, he also spoke about his upcoming role on BBC One show The Greatest Dancer, and revealed fans will be able to watch him twerking of which he claims to be ‘quite good’.

As the receptionist, Curtis said he will ‘build up their confidence, put a smile on their face, do a bit of dancing, you’ll see me twerking in there’.

‘I’m quite good at twerking I’m not going to lie. Then I send them on their way to perform,’ he added.

Maura Higgins revealed she stormed out of the Love Island villa, begging to go home, in unaired scenes.

The 28-year-old – who is currently dating Curtis Pritchard – had a rollercoaster ride on the ITV2 dating show, filled with fanny flutters and hidden wine stealing.

But she admitted there was a point she was desperate to go home, as she thought she would never find love.

Speaking on Boohoo podcast Get The Scoop, she said: ‘You have a lot of good moments, but then you have a lot of bad moments in there too because things get very heightened.

‘I’m so proud of the fact I didn’t give up because I was going to.

‘I actually stormed out of the villa and said, “I want to go home, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t find a man”.

‘But I’m so proud that I got the strength to stay and carry on… and now look, I’ve got a man!’

Despite some minor setbacks at the beginning of their romance, Maura and Curtis have been loved up ever since.

And she revealed meeting the professional dancer was actually her ‘best moment’ on the show.

‘My best moment in the villa was finally finding a man,’ she added. ‘My worst was missing my sister’s wedding and missing my niece’s birthday, oh my God I cried that day.

‘It was also my best friend’s two-year anniversary while I was away. I cried so many times.’

The lovebirds left the villa six weeks ago, and have faced their fair share of split rumours ever since.

However, after laughing most of them off, the ring girl blasted claims she was ‘all over’ pal Greg O’Shea, hours after he split from Amber Gill.

The pair were spotted out together following their joint appearance on The Late Late Show, when insiders claimed they were getting a little too close.

And Maura slammed the rumours in typical Maura form.

‘Do you know what? It’s 2019 right? If I was stood there besides a girl, nothing was going to be said about it,’ she told Metro.co.uk.

‘If I’m stood beside any man, I’m going to be accused of flirting. It’s absolutely ridiculous, come on!

‘He’s a friend and I don’t really care what people say.

‘I’ve always got on with lads, I’ve hung around with lads more than girls.

‘Just because I’m photographed besides a boy, doesn’t mean I’m flirting with them. Come on!’

Love Island star Anton Danyluk has admitted he still speaks to ex-girlfriend Belle Hassan every day, despite the pair splitting following their exit from the villa.

Anton and Belle met on the ITV2 show during the Casa Amor twist and underwent several ups and downs before they left the Majorcan compound before the final.

However, the Scottish gym owner has claimed that there will ‘always be something there between me and Belle’ and that the pair remain close in spite of going their separate ways.

‘But we still make sure we speak to each other everyday, which is really really nice that we can keep up that friendship, and who knows in the future what it might lead to,’ the 25-year-old said.

Speaking to The Sun, he added: ‘There will always be something there between me and Belle.

‘No matter if I marry someone else. I’ll never have an experience like what I had with Belle in that place, and I’ll love and respect her for that always.’

His comments come after Belle told Metro.co.uk they ‘still talk here and there but it’s really hard when he’s traveling and we’d go two or three days without talking’.

She added: ‘And for me, when I’m seeing someone, I need more than that. At least if I’m not seeing you, call me, pick up the phone.’

But the 21-year-old make-up artist isn’t letting the split get her down, and she believes Anton is enjoying his fame just as much.

‘Everything I felt for Anton and everything I said was real. I did really fall for him, I did really like him – it’s just one of those things,’ she said.

‘Obviously I’m sad, but what can you do, life goes on, get on with it. I think for him now, he’s a single boy, he’s enjoying fame and I’m happy for him.’

Wearing a series of outfits on the runway, Camilla strutted her stuff in front of the fashion industries greatest including in a black mini jumper dress and a red leather mini both paired with a striking gold applique on her face and a birds-nest style head piece.

Vin+Omi’s collection was in collaboration with Prince Charles, who allowed the designers to handpick 3000 nettles from his gardens to turn them into the garments.

It is thought Charles met the designers at a reception for the Positive Fashion initiative in 2018.

The designers have dressed Michelle Obama, Debbie Harry and Kate Moss in the past.

The 30-year-old star, who found fame on Love Island in 2017, has used her popularity to focus on conservation and humanitarian causes.

‘It was such an honour (and slightly terrifying) to be asked to walk in the @vinandomi SS20 LFW show,’ she later shared on Instagram.

‘They are two of not only the most incredibly talented people I’ve ever met, but also the loveliest and most welcoming.

‘Their vision and continued dedication to positive social impact and eco-innovation is nothing short of remarkable.’

In early 2019 she appeared in an inspiring documentary What Camilla Did Next.

Camilla, who found love with Jamie Jewitt in the infamous Majorcan villa in the 2017 series, had viewers falling head over heels all over again as she returned to her ‘first love’ of disposing bombs in Cambodia in front of the cameras.

Ahead of her trip back to Asia, Camilla explained how she has struggled with life in the spotlight, explaining in the one-off episode: ‘Having a relationship in the public eye isn’t always easy.

‘People can say quite nasty things sometimes, like I’m not attractive enough for Jamie, or I’m boring and he’ll get bored of me, and it hurts.

Curtis Pritchard has managed to get himself firmly in Maura Higgins’ bad books, and it’s all his own fault.

The Love Island star appeared on Good Morning Britain alongside brother AJ Pritchard, when he revealed a pretty huge secret about the 28-year-old.

Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway quizzed the 23-year-old on their relationship, when he let slip she was heading to Ireland for her brother’s surprise birthday party.

And it’s so, so awkward.

When asked his romance was going with the ring girl, he told the hosts: ‘Things are incredible, I’ve been very fortunate with things to do with work, things to do with Maura.

‘[It’s] fantastic, so good. She’s gone to Ireland, I believe. I can’t say what for, because it’s a surprise.

‘I don’t want to say it just in case her brother’s watching…’

With absolutely no prodding from anyone else, Curtis continued: ‘It’s a surprise birthday party for him.

‘I’m hoping he’s not watching right now.’

We hope so too, for your sake, hun.

Fans were understandably left fuming over his mistake, flocking to Twitter to voice their shock.

One wrote: ‘As if Curtis has just revealed live on TV that Maura has gone to Ireland for her brothers SURPRISE party!! @GMB.’

‘Memo to self: Never tell Curtis Pritchard a secret… #goodmorningbritain,’ another joked.

While a viewer questioned: ‘Has Curtis *actually* ruined the surprise? Or was he allowed to say?! #gmb.’

Maura has yet to mention his slip up on social media, so hopefully she’s still asleep and hasn’t seen it yet…

Love Island fans are convinced that Maura Higgins is the latest star to sign up for Dancing on Ice as the latest image from the new series was revealed.

Our Strictly stars haven’t even performed their first dance yet, there’s no word on the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! line up, yet Dancing on Ice is already doing the most and teasing us with the stars set to appear on the 2020 series.

With a close up picture showing the signature pouty lips, brown hair and flawless skin (seriously, this woman can do no wrong in our eyes) that could only befit a reality TV star, fans were sure it could only be the Love Island 2019’s iconic catchphrase queen, the inimitable Irish Maura.

‘We can’t wait for this celeb to get their skates on…’ the caption read, leaving fans excited at the prospect of more Maura on our screens.

‘Pls can this be Maura,’ one wrote, while another fan added: ‘I’m convinced this is Maura omg.’

We’re crossing our fingers that this is true, as we expect very good things from the former model. I mean, her boyfriend is a ballroom dancer; hopefully she can follow in the footsteps of James Jordan and steal some of Curtis’ dance skill.

Reports that Maura was battling it out with Amber Gill and Tommy Fury to represent #TeamLoveIsland in the ice skating competition emerged earlier this summer, but it seems like Maura’s hilarious personality won it for her in the end.

The fifth celeb from the class of 2020 to be teased, fans have been speculating which stars are going to appear on the upcoming series.

So far, Joe Swash and Diversity’s Perri Kiely look like the most likely contestants, while many fans guessed that H from Steps was the fourth celeb to be announced.

No word from the third picture, which simply shows a football: given the success of the Lionesses at the World Cup this summer, this picture doesn’t even give us a clue about the contestant’s gender. We need more than that guys!

There’s always catchphrases that come from Love Island – from ‘muggy’, to ‘it is what it is’, to the much-maligned ‘bev’.

But another trend came out of the 2019 villa thanks to Francesca Allen.

The 23-year-old made us all raid every shop on the high street for the biggest and best headbands and earrings, becoming a bit of an accessory icon.

And two months on from the villa, Francesca is loving being the fans’ go-to islander for fashion advice.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the reality star said: ‘It makes me really, really happy that people appreciate clothes as much as I do. I remember being a little girl, just wanting to dress myself all the time, having like a little outfit with a net skirt and flowers all over.

‘I’ve always loved clothes – I used to make my own clothes at school because I couldn’t afford to buy the high street stuff.

‘I love headbands, it can change a whole outfit. You can wear a dress during the day and stick a headband and some earrings on and you’re got an evening outfit. I don’t like throwaway clothes, I like to rewear things a lot and have key pieces – like, a white shirt, that’s my go-to.’

And Francesca has received sweet messages from fans who feel more confident about perceived imperfections, having seen her own her look.

‘A lot of people do come to me on Instagram about how they look, because I have a gap [in my teeth] and a lot of girls say to me “thank you for making me feel confident about the way I look”. Everything’s been really positive for me.’

Francesca didn’t have much luck love-wise in the villa – losing out on Curtis Pritchard to Maura Higgins – and decided to put all her effort into her look instead.

‘Because I didn’t find anyone in there, I just thought, I’m gonna get dressed up every day, do what I do, make myself feel good and confident,’ she said.

‘Clothes are the first thing you see when you meet somebody so why not express your personality through how you dress?’

Francesca works as a manager of boutique Bonnie & Clyde, and is hoping to stay in fashion despite her Love Island fame, saying: ‘There’s a few things work wise but I would really like to carry on with fashion, I love styling. If you can help someone feel good, that’s amazing.

‘Say someone’s going on a date, and you help them pick an outfit, and they feel good, you can see it in their face, it’s a whole other person that comes out. And fashion has become so much more diverse, so that’s exciting.’

Love Island’s Dr Alex George isn’t done with his reality shows, as the star has revealed he’d love to go on Bear Grylls.

Seriously. The 29-year-old, who was unable to find love in the villa is now hoping to return to our screens, and we need to make this happen.

When chatting to Female First, the A&E doctor opened up about his career and how he’d like to take on a new challenge.

He explained: ‘I’m A Celebrity, Bear Grylls, those are the kind of things I feel are challenges and things I’d like to tick off, so why not?’

And this isn’t the only show he’d want to go on, as Alex revealed he’d also be up for Strictly Come Dancing.

Since leaving the popular dating competition, he has sparked a relationship with Ibiza Weekender star Amelia Bath.

And it seems she might come in handy if he ever made it onto the ballroom.

‘Amelia’s a dancer,’ he told the publication: ‘So she would be very good at teaching me for Strictly. I’d definitely consider Strictly, yeah of course I would.’

The pair announced their relationship at the start of the year with a loved up snap, and they’ve only gone from strength-to-strength.

Teasing his fans when they finally went official, Alex wrote: ‘The person I would like to couple up with is….’

Just recently, the former islander appeared on Celebrity MasterChef where he attempted to impress the judges with his raw brownies.

However, when serving them up, the dessert crumbled on the plates, seeing him leave the competition.

‘Not enough dates,’ he muttered to himself before adding: ‘I think a couple more dates would have made the difference actually.’

Love Island star Greg O’Shea has revealed that he experienced a recent ‘creepy’ encounter with a female fan, after she followed him home.

The 24-year-old told all about the experience on Baz and Andre’s House of Rugby Live show, explaining the girl followed him as he returned to his home in Dublin.

‘I was over in Dundrum, I live just beside Dundrum, buying something and I was walking home then just around the corner and this girl followed me home, which is a bit creepy,’ he recalled.

Amber Gill’s ex spoke to the girl in question, but confessed the whole ordeal was ‘weird’.

‘That’s the creepiest thing that’s happened so far,’ he continued. ‘She followed me literally to my front door.

‘She ended up perking up towards the end and we had a conversation, she was fine, she wasn’t crazy but it was weird.’

The rugby player explained the girl in question was ‘20 metres behind him’ and didn’t speak to him until they both got to the door.

‘It was so weird, she didn’t say anything until I got to my door and the she was like, “Greg!”, as if I wasn’t Greg the last ten minutes like. So she knows where I live now!’

Since his newfound fame on Love Island, Greg also admitted he finds it ‘weird’ that he’s recognised in public.

‘People would take a limb off for the opportunities that I have now,’ he added.

‘It’s amazing but it’s just a bit weird for me now because I’m walking down the street and people are recognising me so I just have to be ready for that and not be ignorant.’

This comes after Greg previously admitted that he ‘knows the truth’ behind his split to fellow Love Islander, Amber, after they called it quits just five weeks after winning this year’s series.

‘Amber’s doing great stuff over in the UK,’ he told Ryan Tubridgy’s Radio One show.

‘I can be happy with myself that I know the truth and I know what’s happened.

‘She can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best – she’s a great woman.’

Chris Hughes hopes to move in with his girlfriend Jesy Nelson after she gets back off tour with Little Mix.

The pair have been dating for almost 10 months, and it seems the couple are ready to settle down and take their relationship to the next stage.

When chatting with Metro.co.uk, the Love Island star gave a sneak peek into his future plans with the singer.

He told us: ‘We will possibly look in the future at getting a place together, but she’s on tour and I’m doing my thing.

‘We’re both very busy, so there’s no real rush to do any of that, were both very happy and yeah – no rush.’

The Bounce Back hitmaker recently released a documentary on the BBC called Odd One Out, where she addressed her struggle with online trolls.

During the hour long episode, she confessed that the negative comments regarding her appearance got so bad she even considered taking her own life.

While talking about the young star, Chris praised his girl for finding the courage to share her mental health battle with the world.

He said: ‘The reaction to the documentary has been unbelievable. It was a brave thing to do.’

Explaining that the show was ‘hard to watch’ the reality star added: ‘It’s helped thousands of people and it’s just a really brilliant thing to have done, I’m very proud.’

After it aired, Chris immediately got a phone call from the former X Factor contestant, who he said was very ‘overwhelmed’.

‘She rung me, bless her, after it like straight away and she’s very overwhelmed with the reaction. Essentially it did more than what she wanted it to do. She should be really proud of herself.’

He went on: ‘She played it down, I told her it would be unbelievable but Jesy being Jesy, she was like, “Oh I hope so,” but she didn’t have the confidence.

‘She never had an easy life, she is a girl who is extremely talented, all she wanted to do was sing and like she said, she wanted to be a performer or nothing really – so it was that or nothing.

‘You don’t deserve to get any negativity for having a talent.’

Jesy is currently on tour with her girl gang, but it seems Chris knows how to keep himself busy while pining for her return.

Yes, the star recently teamed up with Captain Morgan, who invited both himself and two lucky fans to Ibiza.

After sharing the competition onto his Instagram, Chris revealed: ‘Captain Morgan have given me the opportunity for one last bit of sunshine with some of my Instagram followers.

‘I’m very much looking forward to it, and to have one more blow out in the sun before summer is over.’

He explained: ‘It’s going to be a fun filled 24-hours with lots of challenges and activities.

‘It’s a chance for my followers to get involved and have one last chance to enjoy summer with me.’

Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have said that this year’s Love Island winners, Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, were never in love, just lust.

Amber and Greg split just 39 days after leaving the villa, with him claiming that the distance was the reason for their break up.

Olivia and Alex, however, have recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary after meeting on the show, so they reckon they’re in a pretty good position to give their opinion on Amber and Greg’s short-lived romance.

Alex explained: ‘To be honest, with the Amber and Greg situation, he lives over in Ireland. He’s smashing it over there, she’s smashing it over here.

‘They didn’t really know each other that long, they were coming towards the end, there weren’t really deep, deep feelings there,’ he told The Mirror.

‘Obviously he fancied her, she fancied him. I think that’s all it was really, like a bit of lust.’

Olivia added: ‘At the end of the day, if you really loved someone and really wanted to be with them, you’d make it work regardless.

‘They’re just not meant to be together, I think that’s all you can say.’

She also explained why some Love Island relationships struggled to go the distance: ‘You either fail really hard or it really does work. We’re just so lucky that it actually worked.

‘You really do get to know each other really quickly and really well. We lived with each other within two days of coming out of the show.’

Olivia revealed that people doubt Love Island relationships because it’s an unusual place to begin a romance.

She said: ‘People always doubt it because it’s reality TV. It’s a weird place to find someone but, luckily for us, it worked.’

Alex added that he felt that getting to know each other on Love Island actually made them stronger as a couple as they were forced to learn a lot about each other in the first six weeks of knowing each other.

Amber and Greg had won this year’s series after he entered the villa just 12 days before the end of the series, and bagged himself half of the £50,000 prize money.

However, it has since been reported that he dumped Amber by text after feeling that the distance between her in Newcastle and him in Ireland was just too much.
