Greg blamed the long distance between them and their careers for the split, but that hasn’t sat well with Amber as she’s of the view that the couple were well aware of both factors when they first coupled up.
Proving there’s no point crying over spilt milk, though, the Newcastle beauty is now focusing on bigger and better things.
Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, she said: ‘I think in the future I’ll look back on this as a blessing in disguise. I can focus on work and spending time with my family and friends.’

Oh, and as for Greg’s prize money? He can keep it.
Some fans had called for Greg to be stripped of his share of Love Island’s £50k cash prize, but Amber’s not fussed.
‘Nah, he can keep it,’ she joked. ‘I needed someone else to win and we won it together.’
Discussing her feelings now for her ex, Amber threw out the classic – she’s not mad, she’s just disappointed.
‘I don’t hate him, I’m just disappointed in him, really,’ she said.

Michael Griffiths dumped Amber Gill after Casa Amor (Picture: ITV)
Love Island’s Amber Gill has thanked former beau Michael Griffiths for dumping her as it ‘made her win the series.’
The Newcastle babe, who was crowned the fifth champion of the ITV2 dating show alongside Greg O’Shea, was sensationally dumped by Michael after the drama of Casa Amor when he returned with new girl Joanna Chimonides on his arm.
Despite the blow, Amber managed to find love – albeit briefly – with newbie Greg and the couple ended up taking home a share of the £50,000 prize money.
Speaking with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine about what she’d say if she came face-to-face with Michael again, Amber admitted: ‘I’d say, “Thanks, hun, for making me win the show.”‘
Fair.

Proving she’s over her heartache, Amber added to the publication: ‘I think in the future I’ll look back on this as a blessing in disguise. I can focus on work and spending time with my family and friends.’
Amber also admitted there’s no bad blood.
‘I don’t hate him, I’m just disappointed in him, really,’ she said.
Greg blamed long distance and their blossoming careers for the split and recently stated on Ryan Tubridgys Radio One Show earlier this month: ‘She [Amber] can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best – she’s a great woman.’
Greg and Amber aren’t the only couple from this year’s series to go to Splitsville, with Chris Taylor and Harley Brash and Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk calling it quits too.
Ovie Soko and Indi Reynolds are still going strong though, as are Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins and Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, who’ve just bought a place together.
Love Island is expected to return to ITV2 in January 2020.

Now, Greg has claimed that he is a ‘boring old fart’ as he chose to save the money in an English bank account, and waited for the conversion rate to improve before he did anything with it.
Speaking on Irish radio show RTE 2fm, he said: ‘It’s so boring, I just saved it.
‘I actually kept it in an English bank account and waited for the converstion rate to improve before bringing it across [to Ireland].
‘I needed someone else to win and we won it together. I don’t hate him, I’m just disappointed in him really.’
She later revealed that she wanted ‘a bit of effort’ to come from her former partner, still standing by the claim that he dumped her by text.
‘All I wanted was a little bit of effort on his part to come to London or Newcastle to see me, and we’d had a discussion about that a couple of days before,’ she continued.
‘Then he texted me on the day I was supposed to fly to Ireland.’
In the meantime, the 22-year-old has since landed a deal as the face of fashion company Miss Pap, which is reportedly worth £1 million.

Before she entered the Love Island villa, India Reynolds found a different level of fame as a Page 3 girl.
The 28-year-old did plenty of topless shoots throughout her successful career, but when she went on Love Island this summer, India was hit with scatching comments about her old job – because y’know, the internet.
But this girl refuses to be shamed for her modelling.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, new boohoo ambassador India said: ‘There was a few negative comments, saying “oh you did porn” – well I didn’t do porn. I’ve done topless pictures – I did Page 3 for years, I’m not embarrassed by it.
‘I had a fantastic time, I really enjoyed my time as a Page 3 girl. I met the loveliest girls, they’re still my best friends now. And it’s good that it’s not such a taboo [anymore], women should be allowed to do what they want. I was completely in control of that situation and I loved it.’
India has signed up to boohoo (Picture: boohoo.com)
India has dropped her Metallic Moments capsule collection (Picture: boohoo.com)
The model continued: ‘I don’t think someone should condemn other people for their choices. I understand if some people have a view that it’s degrading, but if it’s your choice, it’s not degrading, it’s amazing.’
India no longer does Page 3, but has continued modelling – ‘I do quite a lot of underwear, fuller bust and things like that for brands’ – and her latest job ties in perfectly with that.
The reality star has just dropped her first campaign for boohoo with her capsule collection Metallic Moments, and while having her name splashed across the website might be new, India is no stranger to the brand – being a regular model for the site.
‘It’s actually crazy!’ India said. ‘I used to be in the studio four, five days a week, so it’s mental to be now doing the campaign for them. It’s a dream come true. Being able to do the more creative stuff has been so much fun.
India and Ovie are going strong (Picture: PA)
India was a late arrival (Picture: ITV/REX)
‘It’s so inclusive, all their models are so versatile – they have such a big range with different sizes, and it’s affordable.’
India has had perhaps more of a whirlwind than most islanders, having only joined the villa two weeks before the final. She had an instant connection with Ovie Soko, and the pair coupled up – eventually coming third in the final.
‘I knew when I went in that there wasn’t much of the show left, so I was shocked when we got to the final,’ India admitted.
‘Obviously Ovie had been in there longer so was more well-known, but he was really surprised too. We just had a nice attitude in there. We were enjoying each other’s company and every other day we spent in there, it was like a bonus.’
Now, India and Ovie are one of the few 2019 couples still together, although there have been plenty of rumours about the state of their relationship. India was accused of cheating on the basketball player, while there was speculation they had split after neither attended the other’s rival fashion parties (Ovie works with Asos).
India is rolling with the punches (Picture: boohoo.com)
India wants to keep modelling (Picture: Instagram)
India said: ‘It’s not nice, I don’t think anyone would enjoy that. It’s been fine, we’re really happy together. But it’s hard, it would be hard for any couple.
‘At the end of the day, we’ve only known each other for seven weeks, but you come out to all the craziness and the press and you kind of bond over that. It’s difficult, but it’s given me even more confidence in our relationship.’
And while India and Ovie are proving the haters wrong, that’s not their motivation for staying together.
‘It’s like any relationship – if you meet someone and you like them, you want to make it work, but I would never feel pressured to stay together just because we met on a TV show.
‘We want to stay together because we like each other.’
India’s Metallic Moments collection is available now on boohoo.com.

Love Island funnyman Iain Stirling is known for his scathing quips that often push the line of what’s acceptable and not… but his latest stunt may have just scarred us for life.
Girlfriend Laura Whitmore shared a picture of the Scottish comedian attempting to rock her yellow knitted swimsuit, and it leaves very little to the imagination.
‘One swimsuit. Two looks. Who wore it best? (I’m gonna regret asking this) DISCLAIMER : Once you swipe you can’t unsee,’ Laura captioned the post and she isn’t kidding.
‘Who wore it better?’ (Picture: @thewhitmore)
It’s a look (Picture: @thewhitmore)
Iain will be back in charge of narrating all the antics of the new batch of islanders when Love Island series six kicks off in January for the first-ever winter version.
But while Iain – who has been dating Laura for two years – is known for slagging off the islanders as they crack on with each other, he revealed before season five kicked off that he is now forbidden from being too vicious.
Talking about his more cutting jokes, the voiceover star said on Sunday Brunch: ‘Some of them they let us do – and some they say: “You obviously can’t say that.” We get some Scottish phrases in.
‘London TV execs are like, “Oh, what a quaint phrase” [and] I’m like “That doesn’t mean that”.’

She became a fan favourite for her fiery one-liners and no-nonsense advice, which she dished out to her fellow Islanders throughout the summer.
While the ice rink and dance floor are two completely different matters, Maura’s boyfriend Curtis is a professional dancer so lets hope he can teach the Irishwoman a trick or two.

Love Island’s Jordan Hames and Ferne McCann haven’t been shy with coming forward about the dating rumours after the pair were spotted looking very close.
The former Islander wasn’t exactly known as boyfriend material, but Ferne may have found something in him that we didn’t get to see.
Ferne – who was previously on The Only Way Is Essex – invited the 24-year-old to her cocktail launch party last night and they couldn’t take their hands off each other.
According to The Sun, the pair are now dating. We’re not too sure how Anna Vakili is going to feel about this.
Ferne, 29, posted an image of her kissing her new man as they packed on the PDA but it has since been deleted.
Jordan Hames really likes his 29-year-olds, huh.
To add icing to this very random cake, Jordan (coincidentally or not) matched his girlfriend’s pink outfit with the same colour shirt.

It didn’t help that he found himself beefing Anna after commenting ‘facts’ on a social media post about her sister Mandi being ‘fame hungry’.
However, the model must be a huge upgrade for Ferne as her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was jailed for a vile nightclub acid attack that injured 22 people and left 16 people with serious burns.
Ferne – who shares daughter Sunday with Arthur – had spoke to OK! and said: ‘I’m sick and tired of lust. Maybe an older man because I’ve always gone for younger guys. I’ve only ever been a single mum so I don’t know any different and I don’t need help.’

Her interview with OK! Magazine had her admitting that she is ‘taking the male approach to dating’ and is ‘dating five guys at the moment’.

The stars went all out for Harley’s 21st (Picture: BACKGRID)
Love Island’s Anna Vakili and Yewande Biala reunited as stars from the show came together to celebrate Harley Brash’s 21st birthday.
Our girl squad is back together.
Anna, Yewande and Elma Pazar were among the stars from this year’s series to celebrate their pal’s big day, with Samira Mighty from last year’s series and Gabby Allen from 2017 also rocking up.
Anna and her sister Mandi looked incredible in co-ordinating PVC get-ups, with the birthday girl rocking an orange number as she posed with a balloon.
The girls first enjoyed dinner at 100 Wardour Street in Soho before dancing the night away at a club and it looked like an absolute blast.
Asked at the TV Choice Awards how she is getting her friend through the heartbreak, Anna revealed: ‘I’ve just been talking to her.
‘Whenever she feels down or upset I talk her through it and let her know that most women have gone through it at one point in their life, time is a healer, and she will be okay.
‘It’s about talking to her and doing fun things. We play games, we eat loads of food and watch movies.’
Sounds like the perfect heartbreak cure to us.

She reiterated her comments in an interview with new! magazine, revealing: ‘We really did get along… Demi is] a beautiful, lovely person and she’s funny, but there was no sexual chemistry there.
Megan said the pair only ever kissed and she saw Demi as ‘more of a friend’ (Picture: E4)
‘We only ever kissed and I couldn’t get past that point. I was doubting myself and I thought, “Maybe I don’t like girls,” but it wasn’t that. I just saw her more as a friend.’
Demi thinks otherwise, though, and said Megan claiming they have ‘no sexual chemistry’ was like a ‘stab in the heart’.
Speaking to MailOnline, the Towie star said: ‘I am really upset how she is belittling our relationship. For her to say there was no chemistry or spark, I know for full well that she is lying because we had a passionate relationship.’
Demi explained that while the girls did ‘try things’ when they were drunk, she wanted to wait to sleep with Megan because she is ‘old-fashioned’.
‘For her to say she only wanted to kiss me has really hurt me because that wasn’t the case. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other,’ she said.
Since splitting with Demi, Megan has now moved on with professional footballer Chelcee Grimes – who she is thought to have met through her ex.
Megan is now dating Chelcee (Picture: Anthony Devlin/Getty Images)
News of their relationship led to Demi calling Megan ‘fake’.
‘I was falling for her pretty hard and to be honest I feel like she completely used me. She broke up with me the day after filming finished,’ said Demi.
‘She spoke so much about loyalty and kicked off that I messaged someone openly from the show and all the time she was messaging someone behind my back.’
Megan, meanwhile, insists she had told Demi that Chelcee slid into her DMs after the Celebs Go Dating party and asked her out, but Demi went ‘mad’.
She confirmed herself and new girlfriend Chelcee started dating about a week after she and Demi called it quits.

Chris Hughes and his brother Ben to star in BBC Three documentary on testicular cancer (Picture: BBC)
Love Island’s Chris Hughes is about to embark on the most important milestone of his career, fronting a new BBC Three documentary alongside his brother on testicular cancer, aptly titled Me, My Brother and Our Balls.
Last year Chris famously had a testicular examination live on This Morning and was hailed a champ by thousands of fans with a YouTube clip of the 26-year-old’s procedure being viewed more than 35 million times.
While the reality star’s bravery undoubtedly spurred on thousands of men to follow in his footsteps, no one could have predicted what would happen next. His older brother Ben checked himself for the first time, found a lump and was soon diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Ben then went to have his sperm frozen before having the testicle removed only to learn the sample contained no sperm at all. Subsequently, both brothers were confronted with having fertility issues, which has increasingly become a huge issue for millions of men.
Studies show western men’s sperm count has halved over the past four decades, without any scientific explanation.
Chris starred in girlfriend Jesy Nelson’s recent BBC documentary shaming online trolls (Picture; BBC)
‘What started as an attempt to shed light on an issue that affects so many men turned into an incredibly personal journey for me and my family and has brought me even closer to my brother, Ben,’ revealed Chris.
‘I also learned things about male fertility that really surprised me, so hopefully people will find the documentary educational. Fertility is often a subject that guys don’t consider until it might be too late, so I’m hoping this documentary will raise awareness and help men who might be struggling with these issues.’
Me, My Brother and Our Balls is expected to air on BBC Three later this year.

Curtis Pritchard has opened up about being fat-shamed while he was on Love Island, hitting out at those who posted vile comments.
The 23-year-old – who is currently dating Maura Higgins – was trolled for gaining weight in the villa, and later revealed he put on two stone on the show.
And, speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, he insisted he’s absolutely not worried about the response to his new WW ad.
‘I’m not worried about what fans [think] about…,’ he told us. ‘It’s incredible I can even say “worried about fans”, I’m a normal person, it’s absolutely wild!
‘Obviously, coming out of the villa I was fat-shamed by the papers. Can I just say, in 2019, I think this is ridiculous. People shouldn’t be fat-shamed. There are much larger things going on in life than people who are worried about other people’s weight, as in shaming them and making them feel bad about themselves.
Curtis Pritchard hit out at fat-shamers during his time on Love Island (Picture: ITV2)
‘That shouldn’t be happening, but it did.’
The professional dancer also revealed he saw some of the comments on social media, and has decided to work with WW to prove to everyone that he can be healthy.
‘I was aware that that [the trolling] had happened,’ he continued. ‘It’s not nice for that to happen, that’s why I’m lucky enough to be joining the WW family.
‘I’m going to prove to myself, which will then prove to everybody else, that I can live a healthy lifestyle, do the normal things, and still maintain that good weight. I will lose a bit of weight, absolutely.’
Curtis gained two stone while in the Love Island villa (Picture: Getty)
Curtis may have become a household name thanks to his stint on Love Island, but he first came to fame through his love of dance.
The reality star took part on Dancing With The Stars, in Ireland, and will be popping up on the next series of BBC’s The Greatest Dancer in 2020.
‘I was always aware I needed to look a certain way a little bit,’ he said. ‘Because you see some of these dancers, the Strictly lot and that, and they have these incredible bodies, the Love Island lot as well…
Curtis explained his weight has ‘taken a toll on his mindset’ in the past (Picture: ITV)
‘The Love Island guys were gym freaks, they loved the gym, they worked out, it’s their life and what they love, and all respect to them, but I was never like that and I’ve never been like that.
‘I’ve always been fractionally bigger, fractionally larger, and it does take a bit of a toll on my mindset and that’s why I believe I was doing these crash diets, and that doesn’t need to happen anymore. I just want to live a healthy lifestyle that will create the weight loss over a longer period, and a sustainable period of time.’
But Curtis is adamant he never compared himself to any of his fellow Love Islanders, including Tommy Fury and Michael Griffiths, because that’s not healthy.
Instead, he is working with WW to ‘destroy old habits’ and ‘create new ones’.
Which is fair enough.
Discussing the campaign, he added: ‘I’ve tried many crash diets but none of them have worked for me. They don’t allow me to eat properly so I find myself binge-eating and the weight piles back on.
‘That’s what WW are going to do with me. It’s to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so if I want to go out and eat with my mates, if I want to go for a drink, I can do it.
‘It’s not saying no and it’s not stopping my lifestyle. It’s about swapping some habits.’
Curtis has joined WW to build healthier habits so he can live a more active and healthier lifestyle. To start your own weight loss and wellness journey with WW – the new Weight Watchers, sign up at WW.com.

Amy soaked up the sunshine before flying back to the UK (Picture: Cobra Team / BACKGRID)
Love Island’s Amy Hart was pictured relaxing in Ibiza and taking some me-time a few days after finding out her grandfather died.
The reality star enjoyed the last day of her holiday by lounging in the pool in a stunning neon pink bikini.
It comes after Amy, 27, took to her Instagram account on Monday to reveal she was ‘absolutely gutted’ about his death.
The former air hostess uploaded a sweet shot of herself and her granddad at a family house, as she revealed the sad news to her followers.
She said: ‘Absolutely gutted, but very grateful that I had 27 years with my amazing Grandad.’
The post was flooded with condolences, including one from fellow Love Island contestant Anna Vakili who said: ‘So sorry’, along with a sad face and a heart emoji.
One fan added: ‘May he Rest In Peace & an get the best bed in heaven an watch over ur beautiful soul god bless x [sic]’.
Amy shared the news with her friends and fans (Picture: Amy Hart/Instagram)
The star’s boob job – which took her from a 34A to a 34DD – was paid for her by her grandparents Dee and Harry for her 21st birthday.
Erlier in the summer, Amy was forced to leave Brighton Pride a little early as she was told her granddad was ill.
Amy loves her bright colours (Picture: Cobra Team / BACKGRID)
She later took to Instagram to assure fans that her granddad was sitting up, eating ice cream and doing better.
Amy rose to fame when she appeared on Love Island when she coupled up (then broke up) with Curtis Pritchard.
The pair was spotted posing separately on the red carpet at The Savoy Hotel, however appeared to catch up afterwards for a snap.
Taking to Instagram, Toby shared the picture where they can both be seen beaming at the camera.
Alongside the photo he wrote: ‘Lovely to present an award with this one tonight.’
The Loose Women panellist was recently spotted heading to The Lion King with Toby before heading to Soho House for a bite to eat.
However, despite fans speculating whether there was a romantic spark between the pair, the former air stewardess insists they’re just friends.

Curtis Pritchard reveals the Love Island WhatsApp group is still popping (Picture: Getty; Rex; Splash)
Curtis Pritchard has insisted all the Love Island gang have been included in the cast WhatsApp group, after Ovie Soko claimed he had been snubbed by his co-stars.
And we’re a little confused.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.ukto promote his Weight Watchers campaign, the professional dancer told us it is definitely still ‘popping’ – but he managed to lock himself out of it by accident.
When asked if the ITV2 stars are still active in the chat, the 23-year-old told us: ‘Every now and again. You know what? It has been [popping], but I can’t really talk much at the moment because I’ve just been trying to swap phones over and I’ve locked myself out of WhatsApp because I was trying to upload this and that.
‘So I haven’t actually been on WhatsApp for a little bit, it’s been a bit of a pain.
‘It hasn’t been going wild currently because I’m not on it, but I believe everyone still stays in contact, absolutely.’
Curtis backtracked slightly over the apparent snub (Picture: Getty)
‘I believe everyone’s in the group, yeah,’ he remarked on the apparent snub.
‘Everyone is saying “the group”, there’s about 50 different groups. It’s not just a one Love Island group and that’s that… I don’t know how that’s all come around, of everyone thinking that.
‘There’s so many different groups of this and that, random things… Some people aren’t even in the country so they’re not going to be added in.
‘It’s all so many different variants, from the Boohoo dinners, house-warming parties, this and that. It’s just there are so many different chats.’
We’d just like to be involved in any WhatsApp chat, to be honest.
Ovie Soko revealed he wasn’t part of any group with his castmates (Picture: Rex)
Curtis’ words come after Ovie told Metro.co.uk he was never part of the main group – or basically any of them.
And our hearts broken a little.
‘A lot of people have been asking about this Love Island WhatsApp group…,’ he admitted.
‘This seems to be the thing. ‘I mean, I’ve got everyone’s numbers from Love Island, but I’m not part of any group…
‘So maybe there’s a group out there that I’m not part of… Are you telling me I should be part of the group?!’
Maura was adamant there wasn’t much going on in the group anyway (Picture: Backgrid)
Laughing the whole thing off, the basketball player joked: ‘You’ve just let me know I’m not part of the group, oh wow. Wow.’
When asked if the infamous chat is still going, the 28-year-old said: ‘Hmmm, I think there is one…
‘I don’t usually tend to use groups much, so I’m actually unsure about that. I know there was one, there probably still is….’
No worries, we’ll make our own with Ovie, called ‘Message’.

Caroline Flack has teased us with the news that the upcoming winter series of Love Island will be the ‘hottest’ one yet.
The 39-year-old is set to jet off to Cape Town, South Africa for the upcoming series, set to be broadcast early 2020, to open the villa to a new set of singletons looking for love.
And she has now admitted that she ‘cannot wait’ for the next series.
‘I literally cannot wait, it is going to be so hot,’ she told The Sun. ‘Probably the hottest one yet.
‘Cape Town, can you believe it? Love Island’s twice a year now, it’s going to be mad.’
The head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at TV, Paul Mortimer, said in a statement: ‘Off the back of a record-breaking year, we’re delighted to be bringing an extra series of our biggest and sunniest show the 2020 schedule.

‘Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences.
‘In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location.’
And if that wasn’t enough of the show already, after the winter series concludes, the traditional summer series will return, taking place in the famous Majorca villa once again.
Violent crimes in the nation increased between April 2018 and March 2019, according to police, although a source told the Daily Star the number of holidaymakers visiting the country is on the rise.
‘Cape Town International Airport welcomed 5.3 million holiday makers last year – up 3% on the previous year,’ the source sated.
In the meantime, Love Island fans can get their fix by tuning into the US version of the show, which is currently airing on ITVBe.

The 22-year-old was forced to abandon her last trip after their shock break-up, but this time she has made the journey with co-star Anna Vakili by her side.
Total friendship goals.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a boomerang of the plane window, while her pal told the camera they were ‘off to Ireland,’ in another video.
And they wasted absolutely no time hanging around, and headed straight for drinks after landing.
Handily, Anna revealed they were sipping on bespoke ‘girl code’ cocktails as they lived their best lives.
Amber recently opened up about her split from Greg – just five weeks after they left the Love Island villa as champions.

‘I think in the future I’ll look back on this as a blessing in disguise,’ she told the publication. ‘I can focus on work and spending time with my family and friends.’
Which is fair enough.
Proving she’s absolutely not bitter about the way things ended – after claiming the rugby player dumped her over text – she joked he is totally welcome to his share of their £50,000 prize money.

When asked about fans calling for him to be stripped of the cash, she joked: ‘Nah, he can keep it. I needed someone else to win and we won it together.’
We stan a reality TV queen.
Amber was on our screens daily throughout the summer, with ITV2 viewers watching every part of her romance journey.
But she insisted there were absolutely no hard feelings, telling the Sun: ‘I didn’t realise I had a place to lose, to be honest.
‘I think a few islanders from this series went to ITV and had a chat about Dancing On Ice, but it’s a super-huge commitment and I went away from that meeting thinking it was probably a bit much, training constantly.
‘I went to see them, though, because I think you have got to find out what something is before you just say a flat-out no.’

Before we return to Love Island for the first ever winter edition we’ve got more Tommy and Curtis coming in time for Christmas. Oh, joy.
The programme, which is currently thought to be titled The Boxer and Ballroom, will follow the pair as they trade careers. Tommy will become a ballroom dancer and Curtis will step into the ring as a boxer.
‘ITV wanted to explore a series for them, but didn’t just want a silly contrived fly-on-wall bromance type of show,’ an insider told The Sun.
And then he’s also fighting back to ‘fat-shaming’ trolls with his emotional new Weight Watchers campaign.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, he insisted he’s absolutely not worried about the response to his new WW ad.
‘I’m not worried about what fans [think] about…,’ he told us. ‘It’s incredible I can even say “worried about fans”. I’m a normal person; it’s absolutely wild!
‘Obviously, coming out of the villa I was fat-shamed by the papers. Can I just say, in 2019, I think this is ridiculous. People shouldn’t be fat-shamed.
‘There are much larger things going on in life than people who are worried about other people’s weight, as in shaming them and making them feel bad about themselves.’
Love Island returns to ITV2 in 2020 while Tommy and Curtis’ new show is expected to air before Christmas.

Maura Higgins is in high demand – and revealed that she had been offered to go on both Dancing with the Stars and ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
The controversial Love Island 2019 star has recently been announced to be a contestant for Dancing on Ice, and she admitted that her busy schedule meant she couldn’t do both.
She told the Irish Mirror: ‘I was asked to give them a call but you know what so many things come around and I can’t take everything can I?’
The 28-year-old, from Longford, Ireland, added: ‘I’m only human I can only do so much. I’m happy that I’m doing Dancing on Ice, so yeah.’

Maura has been doing the post-Love Island rounds and has become a brand ambassador for Boohoo.
She left the villa in July with dancer Curtis Pritchard, and told the paper that the 23-year-old has been nothing but supportive of her new venture.
‘He’s very supportive,’ Maura said. ‘I don’t think it’s going to be hard. We’re both busy but we both make time to see each other.
‘I’m not finding it hard and he’s not finding it hard, we see each other when we can and things are really good.’
Maura was announced as the first star for the upcoming Dancing On Ice on This Morning earlier this week, along with Michael Barrymore confirmed shortly after.
Footballer Kevin Kilbane, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini and most recently Paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg MBE have also been confirmed contestants for the show. Ian H Watkins from Steps and and TV presenter Michael Barrymore will also be competing.
Dancing With The Stars is the Irish version of Strictly – which Curtis used to be a professional dancer on.

Love Island’s Amber Gill jokes ex ‘taught her nothing’ (Picture: Getty / Instagram)
Love Island winner Amber Gill has joked that one of her ex’s taught her ‘nothing’ when partying at the Ariana Grande fragrance launch.
The star threw her support behind the Thank U, Next perfume, and took time to write a message in her very own burn book for the occasion.
When letting loose with the likes of her fellow islanders, Kaz Crossley and Yewande Biala, the 22-year-old could be seen jokingly making her mark on the iconic Mean Girls diary.
As her pals filmed her, the reality star took inspo from Ariana Grande’s song Thank U, Next as she wrote: ‘One taught me nothing’.
She then signed off with her signature before laughing into the camera.

The trio posed up a storm during the event, which took place in London, on Friday evening.
And Amber sure showed her former beau Greg O’Shea what he was missing as she rocked a leather look skirt and leopard print top.
The pair coupled up together on the infamous dating show, but despite appearing strong, they decided to call it quits just five weeks after leaving the villa.
It was initially rumoured at first that the Irish star had dumped his gal over text, however, the star has since quashed speculation.

When appearing on an RTE episode of The Late Late Show, he said: ‘Well first of all, I know it’s the old saying, but don’t believe everything you read.
‘We will be open and honest – we have been chatting the last couple of days, all this thing over text isn’t true.
‘We’re mad about each other, what’s not to be mad about her? She is the queen of Love Island for a reason.’
He went on: ‘She lives in UK, and so many brands wants to work with her, and she deserves all of it, and I came back here.
‘We’re all jam packed busy, we are being realistic about this situation. But I am mad about her, and she is about me.’
The split gives Amber and Greg the honour of being the fastest winning couple to break up.

There will be four other groups competing as well, including Ben Foden, Jeremy Edwards, and CBBC’s Max and Harvey.
The brand new take isn’t what we’re used to but we can’t wait to watch these celebrities step out of their comfort zone.

Love Actually’s Olivia Olson is here to win (Picture: The X Factor/ITV)
That’s not all, reality star Megan McKenna, Glee’s Kevin McHale and EastEnder’s Jonny Labey will be pitted against each other in the Unders in the most unusual (in our eyes at least) showdown this year
As for the Overs?
We can expect journalist Martin Bashir, actress Victoria Ekanoye and even talk show host Ricki Lake.
Not going to lie, we’re convinced the entire show will consist of the contestants giggling away while Simon Cowell tries to get everyone under control.
Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh are returning as judges this year along with Dermot O’Leary as host, so at least something is familiar.
The series is likely to be followed by a second X Factor series, X Factor All Stars – in which some of the most familiar faces from the previous X Factors return to battle it out.
‘The time feels right, and it will be a huge change,’ Simon Cowell previously told The Sun.
‘We haven’t exactly confirmed the dates or the order of the shows, but essentially there are going to be two versions of X Factor running this year. I think it’s going to be huge, it’s the best I’ve felt about this show in ages.’
